Knicks Could Take it All!

25 Oct

I am so impressed with the Knicks tonight and in the pre-season. Yes, they have to make improvements on things like rebounding and some defensive tactics, but i think that may be partially as a result of Amare being injured as well as the game pace being more light-hearted in pre-season.  The Knicks have INCREDIBLE depth and their ball handing has been Phenomenal! I’m super excited to see what the Knicks bring this season.  They say the top teams in the East are the Celtics, Heat, and Knicks…but I really believe that the Knicks have the tools and pieces to be the best. What are your thoughts? How do you feel about the Knicks pre-season play?

Magic have “inquired” about a trade for Amar’e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler for Dwight Howard

24 Jan

According to Iamagm.com and ESPN.com:

The validity of this report really comes down to your trust & faith in ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. On his ESPN radio show Sunday, Smith shared with his audience in unequivocal terms that the Orlando Magic have spoken to the New York Knicks about a blockbuster deal involving Dwight Howard. The Magic would be interested in acquiring Amar’e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler in the potential deal. Stephen A. is one of the most controversial members in the NBA media establishment. Some people love him, others deride him & there are a few that even despise him.

Smith:

“As I told you a little bit earlier in the hour, I have some news to report about your New York Knicks.  The Orlando Magic, I will preface my statement by telling you that they have categorically denied this, but my sources tell me that they have inquired about Tyson Chandler and Amar’e Stoudemire going to Orlando for Dwight Howard.  Let me confess to you that I’m torn.  From a basketball standpoint, it would seem you do that trade in a heartbeat.  You don’t teach seven-feet and you don’t teach the dominate and the skills that Dwight Howard has.  But I like Tyson Chandler.  I like the fact that he rebounds and defends.”
